Redevelopment...

Early in 2006, planning permission was finally passed for the redevelopment of Crossley Sanatorium and ownership was passed from The Crown Estate to the developers the PJ Livesey Group - renowned for their redevelopment of listed and specialist buildings.

The two year project, which commenced in the summer of 2006, will see Crossley turned into a residential apartment complex called Kingsley Park, housing approximately eighty-five luxury apartments.

Much of the exterior structures and architecture will remain largely unchanged, however, the interior of the buildings will see considerable redevelopment. Alongside the main hospital building and the nurses accommodation, a large majority of the ancillary buildings will also be converted into housing. Several new housing units will be built to the rear and to the side of the main building.

PJ Livesey aim to have residents in Kingsley Park by Autumn 2008.
